Our Internship Programs

Wisk interns are an integrated part of our team. From operations, to engineering and manufacturing, to flight testing and more, our interns have hands-on opportunities to gain direct aerospace experience via a startup culture. Interns will review the practical application of the principles, concepts, work processes, methods, techniques, regulations, and procedures that are fundamental to aviation and advanced air mobility. Summer Internships for Students

Spending a summer at Wisk will grow your skills and enhance your career. You will have the opportunity to develop and apply classroom-based knowledge to real-world problems and gain industry-specific skills related to your field. You will get to work closely with professionals and learn in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Our robust program will expose students to technologies such as autopilots, precision navigation, flight management systems, and more.

Duration: 12 weeks
Application Period: January – April
Internship Period: May – July
Employment Type: Full-time Temporary
Career Level: College Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors, and Current Graduate Students

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US
  • Must live in the US at both the time of application AND at the time the internship begins
  • Must be either a rising junior or senior in college
  • Must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0, transcripts are required
  • Must be an enrolled student at both the time of application AND at the time the internship begins
  • Must be able to work 40 hours a week for 12 weeks (full-time for 3 months)
  • Must be able to work pacific standard time (PST)

Graduate Pathways Internship

Are you currently in your graduate program or a recent grad? Starting your career with Wisk is a great way to get a taste of the aerospace industry. You will gain hands-on experience while leveraging proven technology, our innovative autonomous software, and working with a team that values diversity, fosters creativity, and empowers team members. Recent graduates who perform successfully and complete all program requirements may be offered a permanent position.

Duration: 16 weeks
Application Period: Fall (June – Sept), Spring (Oct – Jan)
Internship Period: Fall (Oct – Jan), Spring (Feb – May)
Employment Type: Internships can be full or part-time. Interns start as a paid contractor with the potential to become a full-time employee.
Career Level: Graduate student or recent graduate (within two years), with a qualifying bachelor’s degree

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US
  • Must live in the US at both the time of application AND at the time the internship begins
  • Must be either a graduate student in college or a recent graduate
  • Recent graduates must have completed, within the previous two years, a qualifying associates, bachelors, masters, professional, doctorate, vocational or technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution
  • Transcripts are required. Unofficial transcripts are accepted.
  • Must be able to work pacific standard time (PST)
